Lynn Lee is a marine biologist and artist who lives on Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands). Her quirky sense of humour has made our guests quick studies of nature, especially of the magnificent intertidal life of Haida Gwaii (not to mention the special magnificence of barnacles - you'll have to ask her).
Lynn's work includes marine conservation work with World Wildlife Fund, biological surveys of aquatic life, salmon habitat assessments and public education. She has developed exhibits for Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site and for Qay'llnagaay Centre in Haida Gwaii. She is an affiliate of the College of Applied Biology British Columbia and is vice-chair of the Tlell Watershed Society.
Lynn lives with her family in Haida Gwaii. Somehow, she has also found time to establish a line of jewelry called Biological Blueprints that marries her scientific and artistic skills.
