1. The wildlife. Reports are not exaggerated - you won't be disappointed.
2. The naturalists. This trip has the most experienced naturalists and certainly our naturalist, Sylvia, was extremely knowledgeable.
3. The itinerary. This itinerary includes visiting some of the islands that many "standard" tours don't visit. In our opinion, these islands are very worth the extra day or two in the itinerary.
4. The Old Quito tour. Although the goal is to see the Galapagos Islands, when you arrive in Quito (the launch point for the trip), you will be awed by its Old Town, a UN World Heritage site.
   The tour that's part of this trip is fantastic, by a local historian/tour guide whose personal connections will let you see things most tourists are never permitted to see.
5. The small group. Experiencing nature shouldn't be done in a crowd. This trip's group is limited to 14, which is a good size.
6. The yacht. The cabins and lounge areas are comfy, the crew helpful and the operation of the ship very good.
