Vancouver Island & the Great Bear Rainforest in Spring
Fjord in the Great Bear RainforestThis epic journey up the coast in spring explores the historic Inside Passage of Vancouver Island and its tiny communities, the wild outer coast at Cape Caution (dividing line between the north and south coast), and the Great Bear Rainforest. Spring wildlife here includes marine mammals (whales, seals, sea otters, sea lions, porpoises), seabirds and bears. The scenery is incredible, and the sense of adventure as you travel from populated south to wild north is exciting, as spring blooms in the Great Bear.
