The Benefits Of Chartering

Leave everyday patterns and administration behind and embark on a thrilling adventure together.

Our crew and guides are not only skilled mariners and interpreters, but also experts in creating fun and “transformative” escapes for families and friends. With an engaging naturalist as your guide, you’ll learn about the region’s nature, wildlife, and culture while enjoying beach fires, beach combing, hot springs, and more. Imagine exploring exotic destinations and creating lifelong memories with the people closest to you.

And there are more options than just personal getaways. Whether you require a luxury yacht to conduct your business meeting with adventures to provide connection and perspective, or a leadership development program, we can deliver it for you.

Our ships fit different sizes and types of groups—let us help you choose the one that is right for you. We’ll customize a trip to your desires and make all the logistical details and headaches disappear so that you can focus on a remarkable experience with one another.

From team building and leadership training to coastal biology and history, Maple Leaf Adventures provides tall ship sail training for groups of all ages. Business Trips

Elevate your team-building or business retreat to new heights by chartering one of our ships. Our team will work with you to create an itinerary that combines focused work with incredible exploration of the coast. Don’t let routine thinking stifle your team’s potential—expose them to the limitless possibilities that come from travel.

Conservation Funding Trips

Join the ranks of respected organizations such as the Royal British Columbia Museum and the Canadian Museum of Civilization, and conservation funders from across North America, who have all benefited from our expertise in leading educational excursions along the coast.

Special Interest Trips

As coastal experts, we have access to special protected areas all along the coast, and we specialize in creating unforgettable journeys. If you’re looking for something truly out of the box for your group, give us a call.

How to Book Your Charter

Your booking should be made early to avoid disappointment, as our programs have limited availability and high demand. Trips can sell out quickly, so we recommend making your reservation as soon as possible. To secure your spot on any trip, a deposit of one-third of the total price is required.

Custom charters are determined by availability in our trip schedule, which you can view on our Dates & Rates page. If we have an upcoming trip that has not taken bookings yet, there is opportunity to arrange a custom charter. Since our ships are required to be at certain ports at certain times in the operating season, where and when you can go is determined by our trip schedule. Dates on either side of the schedule may work as well, such as early April and late October. You can reach out to our friendly sales team at any time to discuss options.

Our trips are 4-12 days with duration determined by the comparative trip in our operating schedule. On rare occasions, we may offer day sails from our homeport of Victoria, though there is a limited window in which our ships are back at port before they undergo winter maintenance. Our friendly office team are happy to recommend options for day sails in the area.

Yes, we can hold a trip for you for a period of time. We can’t hold it indefinitely though, so it’s a good idea to give your friends and family a deadline to respond.
